No Religion In Public Office. Period!

It's stories like these that scare me.

I am not saying that a person running for office shouldn't be religious. What I am saying is that a person running for office must completely and purposefully distance himself or herself from religion. And with no room for discussion!

I have been a lifelong Republican, but I believe now is the time to change. Like the last election, when Democrats were saying, "Anyone But Bush!", I will adopt an "Anyone But A Republican" attitude if they don't drop this religious dribble. It is an indisputable truth that the world -- and especially America -- would be a better place without Christianity or Islam, at all, let alone within the political arena.

I say, "NO!" "This can't be allowed!" "Vote against religion in office!"
